Changes.

Its officially October! Halloween decorations are being hung in every nook and cranny and Pinterest is being overloaded with pumpkin recipes. The leaves are finally starting to turn into beautiful golden yellows and warm orange tones. Fall has always been one of my favorite times of year. Mainly because I find it a time to change and set new goals. With a new season comes a new set of goals

I look back at a year ago, and can hardly believe how fast this year has gone by. Just a year ago I was at home working for my dad, looking forward to moving up to Rexburg for school. I was anxiously awaiting the changes that were ahead of me. Little did I know that my plans would be postponed, my miniature pinscher would pass away in my arms. I would go on dead end dates, and yet I found myself. I learned more about myself in one year then I had in several. I realized that events happened to help myself grow and learn. I finally found out what I love - animals and art. Through loosing my miniature pinscher I found out how much I care for dogs and want to help non-profit organizations in finding homes for abandoned dogs. And by working for my dad and helping him with his marketing and graphics I found out how much I enjoy creating works of art.
Last years Halloween, with my Miniature Pinscher - Abbey

At times I felt stuck and lost, but as I look back I know I was put through these trials to help me better find out what I love and what I am capable. So as I sit in my bed here in Idaho homesick, feeling lost and unsure about where I am headed, I know I am where I am supposed to be.

One day at a time....God has a plan.

XO.
Haley
